Este año en la liga LEB hay muchos diferentes equipos con opciones de ascender a la ACB. Sin embargo, pienso que es demasiado pronto para opinar al respecto porque varios equipos podrían aún fichar más jugadores.

Son diversos los equipos que tienen opciones además de Hospitalet. CAI Zaragoza es uno de esos equipos. Veo mucho trabajo de equipo y deseo en este equipo. A pesar de tener mala suerte en las últimas temporadas creo que este año podría ser su año, así que si mantienen su juego como lo hacen ahora será así. Es un equipo con mucho dinero así que ellos pueden constantemente jugar a un nivel alto durante los 40 minutos con 15 jugadores buenos y un entrenador listo (Curro Segura).

También, hay rumores de que León probablemente firmará a Lamont Barnes. Pienso que ese podría ser un gran movimiento por parte de León, si Barnes es todavía Barnes,claro, acompañado por Quintero y sus compañeros. Ellos, definitivamente, tienen lo que necesitan pero si añades un jugador más a este equipo en una posición tan importante… También creo que Cantabria puede dar un vuelco si ellos continúan jugando bien como equipo.

Para mí el equipo tapado es  Los Barrios. Ricardo Guillen es muy listo y mueve a su equipo muy bien en los momentos importantes. También será muy interesante ver cómo el Palma Aqua Magia estará cuando llegue Lue Roe. Si Massie y Roe pueden jugar juntos, creo que ellos, sin duda, que van a luchar por meterse en los playoffs.  

Otros más luchan por meterse en los playoffs, sería bonito ver al Hospitalet defender fuerte fuera de la casa para conseguir llevarse un partido de playoffs porque es muy importante que nosotros queramos ser un equipo luchador de playoffs. Especialmente después de ganar al Alerta Cantabria en una imprescindible situación para hacerlo. Es impresionante como el Huelva cambia con la presencia de Antonio Reynold Dean. Sería difícil ganarles en los playoffs pero esto es baloncesto y cualquiera de los dos podemos ganar.

Hay otro equipo más in la lucha por los playoff: Inca, Lleida, Manresa y Melilla. Los resultados del próximo mes van a ser decisivos y excitantes de ver ¡Buena suerte!

“This year in the Leb league there are many different teams with chances to go jump to the ACB. However, I think it´s too early to make any decisions because teams can still sign new players.

There are several teams that I think have a chance besides Hospitalet. CAI Zaragosa is one of those teams. I see so much teamwork and desire on this team. Despite having bad luck in the past years I think this year could be their year and if they keep playing like they have been this year will be their year. It´s a team with a lot of money so they can constantly play at a high level for 40 minutes with the 15 good players that they have and a very smart coach.

Also, there are rumors that Leon will probably sign Lamont Barnes. I think this could be a very good move for Leon if Barnes is still Barnes.along with Quintero and the Leonettes. They definitely have what it takes but i would add one more player to this team at a very important position... I also think Cantabria can pull an upset if they continue to play well as a team. The sleeper team is very much to me, Los Barrios.  Ricardo Guillen is very smart and  uses his team very well in important moments. it´ll also be interesting to see how Palma Aqua Magia are when Lue Roe arrives. If Massie and Roe can play together, I think they will definitely be a contender if they can make it to the playoffs.

Everyone else at this particular time are still fighting to get in the playoffs. would be nice to see Hospitalet play defense fuera de la casa to win a game because that´s very important if we want to be a playoff contender team. Especially after winning to Cantabria in a must win situation.

It´s a mazing how the Huelva team has turned around in the presence of Antonio Reynold Dean. It may be hard to win in the playoffs for them but it is basketball and on  any given night anyone could win. There are still other team in the playoff mix: Inca, LLeida now, Manresa y Mellila. The  results for the next month is gone very exciting to watch. Good luck”

La verdad es que la LEB1 y LEB2 tienen algunas diferentes pero no muchas. Lo digo porque he visto más equipos LEB2 ganar contra equipos LEB1 que equipos LEB1 que ganaran a equipos ACB. Sin embargo, creo que depende mucho de cómo un jugador trabaje y como lleve su relación con el club y si su rol es trascendente. Yo nunca sentí presión por jugar bien o nunca ha habido presión sobre mí o mis compañeros para llevar al equipo a mejor nivel.

En conjunto, yo pienso que lo más importante para mí es disfrutar jugando al baloncesto con mis compañeros, he disfrutado jugando en Hospitalet (LEB actualmente) porque la gente es realmente buena, y he disfrutado jugando para Mateo Rubio (entrenador del Hospitalet). Mateo es muy buen entrenador con muchas ambiciones y ha sido una gran experiencia para mí verle crecer como técnico de baloncesto.

La LEB tiene a los mejores entrenadores porque muchos de ellos vienen de la ACB para entrenar, así que hay mucha experiencia. La LEB tiene más dinero (también comparando con la LEB2). Con más dinero puedes fichar a mejores jugadores. La LEB2 tiene jugadores más jóvenes pero tienen mucho talento. Pienso que la pasión por ganar es la misma para todos los jugadores, equipos, y tanto clubes LEB como LEB2 quieren jugar lo más arriba posible.

Firmar un contrato con un equipo ACB, independientemente de cuánto gano, sería un momento especial para mí. Creo que realmente me motivaría mucho trabajar, aún si cabe, más duro. Tenía muchas ilusiones de jugar en la ACB este año pero desafortunadamente tuve que operarme en verano y haber firmado un contrato ACB no era la mejor decisión a tomar. Sin embargo, realmente siento que puedo marcar diferencias en un equipo ACB. Ahora sólo tengo la mente en recuperarme de la rodilla, y empiezo a sentirla muy bien de nuevo. Gracias a los doctores que me operaron, a club de Hospitalet, pero sobretodo gracias a Dios. Contando todas las cosas que he escrito, todos los jugadores debemos jugar como un equipo, estar seguros de sí mismos y tomar, de verdad, buenas decisiones dentro y fuera de la pista.

"True Leb1 and Leb2 have some difference but not that much. I say that because i have seen more LEB2 teams win against LEB1 teams than I have seen LEB1 teams win against  ACB teams.  But I think depending on how a player works and how the relationship is with the club plays a significant role. I was never pressured to play good or there has not ever been pressure on me or my teammates to take the club to a better level.

Overall I think the most important for me is i've enjoyed playing basketball with my teammates, i've enjoyed playing in Hospitalet for really good people, and i’ve enjoyed playing for Mateo Rubio. Mateo is a very good coach with lots of ambitions and has been a great experience to watch him grow into a very good basketball coach. LEB has better coaches because most coaches of the LEB has come from ACB to  coach so there?s a lot of experience. LEB has more money.With more money a club can sign  better players.  LEB 2 has younger players but they have a lot of talent. I think the passion to win is the same bc all players, teams, and club of LEB and LEB2 want to play at the top level.

To sign a ACB contract regardless of how much i?m being payed would be a very special moment for me. I think it would really motivate me to work just as harder. I was really looking forward to playing in ACB this year but unfortunately I had to go through surgery over the summer and to have signed an ACB contract wasn?t the best decision to take. However, i really do feel I can make the difference for a team of ACB. Now I’m just focused on recuperating my knee, which is beginning to feel very good. Thank?s to the doctor that did my surgery, club Hospitalet, but most of all thank GOD. Regardless of the things i?ve said at the end of the day. I and all players must play as a team, be confident, and make really good decisions on and off the court".
