Regal FC Barcelona has been beaten in his friendly game against Los Angeles Lakers, first checkpoint of his tour in USA.
The blue and maroon team has gone with good impressions of the Staples Center because in some moments of the game they have put Lakers into a difficult situation.
Juan Carlos Navarro has been the most shining player, scoring 34 points and dishing 7 dimes. Navarro has shown he is a NBA level player and, in spite of throwing many shots (5/14 in 2pts shots and 7/13 in 3pts shots) he has been the player of the game.
He was supported by Jaka Lakovic, who seems to have found its place in the team, author of 15 points and Ersan Ilyasova, who has scored 15 points too, besides grabbing 6 rebounds (Navarro grabbed 6 too).
The best of Lakers has been Kobe Bryant. The golden and purple star has scored 28 points, missing only 4 field goals. Gasol, Bynum and Radmanovic have supported him in the frontcourt.
The best moments of Barça in the game were in the last quarter, when Xavi Pasucal's men has reduced the gap from 15 points to only 4 (Lakers were playing with bench team these minutes).
Barça has showed what they are able to do in USA... Will Clippers be the first NBA team defeated in America? A 108-104 score in Staples is enough to make Clippers being aware of Barça.
